This year the kids were into decorating the Christmas Tree on their own so we let them and of course it is beautiful because the kids did it! They would not let us spread out the ornaments so they were even and if we tried to do it while they weren't looking they always noticed and moved them back. I did miss my fancy tree with ribbon and such but it is so nice to have the memories of the kids having fun. Maybe next year we will have 2 trees - 1 for mommy and 1 for the kids :)
