We're back!!

It has been exactly 1 year and 7 months since I last blogged, and honestly I have thought about it everyday.  I miss it, my family misses it, and I don't really have a good excuse for stopping!
I don't think it would be good to try to recap everything that has happened in that 19 month period as it would take me forever, so I have decided for a fresh start.
Exactly 1 year and 10 days ago we moved into our new house in Anthem, AZ and honestly it has been 1 amazing year. We absolutely love where we are in our lives right now and the kids are enjoying it just as much.  Anthem is home to us, we naturally belong here in the warm weather, tight community, lots of sports, and did I mention the warm weather. I think Matt and I remind each other daily how much we don't miss the cold weather.  But if we think we might be needing a cold weather fix we can just drive 1 hour north and there is the snow.

So from today August 1st 2013, where are we?  Well in just one week all 3 kids will be starting their second year of school in Arizona.  Matt will be opening his own agency with American Family Insurance and I am loving my job.
Madelynn is turning 8 years old this month, and going into 3rd grade!  Where has the time gone?

Madelynn has recently found a love for sports and has become very active. In the last year she has played soccer, basketball, golf, and tennis. She doesn't seem to have a favorite but loves them all. She is also a pretty good swimmer.  Madelynn is still very mature for her age and is a huge help with Kaylee and Jacob around the house. She has made some great friendships here in Arizona and it is fun to watch her interact with her friends and be active in the sports.

Kaylee has recently turned 6 and is going into the first grade!

Kaylee has also found a love for sports and has also been active in basketball, soccer, tennis and swimming. She has been known to show those little boys up on the field and court!  Kaylee is still our easy going middle child, she has a ton of friends at school and from what I can tell doesn't have a stress in the world, even though sometimes I wish she would.  We can't wait to watch her grow up this next year in first grade and see her personality come out even more.

Jacob will be turning 4 this month and starting his second year of preschool.  This year will be a little different as he is going to be going full day at the girls elementary school so he will feel as one of the big kids!
Jacob is our true boy!  He brings a whole new aspect to our family and I can't imagine it without him. He is full of spunk and energy and keeps every single one of us on our toes. He is very active in sports and from what we can tell he is one lucky boy as most athletics come very natural to him. He plays soccer and basketball with the 5 & 6 year olds and also plays tennis and swimming. He will start baseball this Fall.  Jacob loves his sisters and does everything he can to keep up with them or bug them.  He has to be on the go all the time and god forbid he slow down for 5 minutes he might take a nap!  From what I have been told he acts just like his father and sometimes people even tell me to hold on. Hopefully they are just joking.
I have nothing to complain about I have 3 healthy amazing kids that bring so much joy to our family and we are living in an amazing place that is perfect for our family!
