So if you don't already know what we are going through is a bit crazy for a family of 3 young kids and 2 working parents of very demanding jobs. What we are able to do for the next 3 months would not be possible without our amazing friends and family that have stepped up to help.
First off Matt's parents have committed almost 3 weeks of their time to come up to Idaho and help take care of the kids. They have been here for a week and a half the first of December and will come back in January for another 10 days to help. With this the kids are able to stay home and Matt is able to come and go as he needs and not worry about who is where. We are so thankful for all their help and willingness to help us get through this time. It has been a amazing to have the laundry done, house picked up and the kids and Matt fed everyday and not worrying about it.
My parents have committed to the other 9 weeks of helping with the kids. They take the kids home make them dinner and get them ready for bed so Matt can come home to some structure every night after practice. It is such a relief for us to know the kids are in good hands and happy while we are doing what we have to do. We know how much work this is after working a full day and coming home to 3 hungry kids with no patience it makes for a little bit of chaos everynight but we sure do appreciate my parents stepping up and taking this on for us!
And of course Kelly. She is there everyday giving our kids extra love and helping them stay as normal as possible when their mom is away and not present in their day to day activities. She is also our back up in the evenings if something comes up for my parents and picks up the slack whenever needed.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful people around us and that is the one reason this move is hard is because of who we are leaving behind.
So to all our help Thanks for Everything. This is extremely hard on me as I am away but to know that my kids are happy makes it a little easier.
