Kids Update

I haven't given an update on the kids recently so I thought it would be a good time to give a little bit of what is going on.
Madelynn is loving school, never a fight to go and she is enjoying every minute of it.  We had a run of about 3 days where we were running a little late and she had to knock on the door after we dropped her off instead of it being open and all the kids going in so she ended that real quick she said she did not like being late so now she is rushing us out of the house in mornings - not such a bad thing since she likes to take her time and slowly get ready.  She is doing great in school and absorbing everything to the max.  I can't believe how much they pick up on and remember so well.  She is definiteley a sponge for information.  She seems to be growing up so much everyday.  Overcoming fears and anxiety that before seemed to really take a toll on her.  Her latest was the coyote at Matt's games.  She has always been so terrified of it and throws fits before we even get there begging that the coyote won't be there but this year after 1 game she has overcome this and is handling herself so well.  I am so proud of her as I know it may sound minor but these are big strides for her.  Other than that she doing wonderful and continuing to be a wonderful big sister.  I have really appreciated her help lately with the younger kids and how much she helps with them.
Kaylee is still going non stop.  She is also doing amazing in school and taking it all in.  She has turned a corner this year and is officially learning and absorbing which has been a lot of fun to watch and work with her.  She is just as smart as Madelynn was and loves school just like her sister.  Her fine motor skills have also blossomed this year we are so proud of her.  She continues to move and jump non stop and we get tired just watching her.  We are also knee deep in the 3 year old stage which is always a challenge.  Kaylee is also a wonderful big sister and loves her baby brother.  She is a little more work and not much help with him but we know she means well and is just trying to boss him around.
And Jacob, he is just amazing.  It is all too often I forget he just 14 months old and keeping up with the best of them.  He is also growing up so fast and keeping us on our toes.  He is using more and more words and is actually pretty clear with them.  He loves to sing and dance so if there is music on he is happy.  He is also pretty independant is happy to play on his own with his toys whenever he has a chance or a break from his overbearing sisters.  Jacob loves balls - he carries a ball around all the time at home and loves to watch basketball with Matt on TV.  He has also been to a couple basketball games and loves them.  He is a little more work, but only because he wants to be down on the floor with the ball.  He is a true boy!
