Have you ever had your 2 year old remind you in the middle of punishing her that she is your best friend? Kaylee pulled one of those on Matt the other night as he was punishing her for something she did wrong. She was very responsive and we were all pretty sure he was getting his point through to her till wham she threw out the "are you still my best friend?"
Excuse me? What? Did that really just come out of her mouth...how do we yell at her now? She sure is a smart little girl and knows exactly how to put a smile on our face! By the way nice job Matt on finishing out the disciplining before breaking down and giving her a big hug and reminding her you are still best friends!
Kaylee is such a blessing to our family she is so upbeat and bouncy (literally) that you can't do anything but smile when she is around. She has a special little twinkle in her eye that can light up a room!
"The 2's aren't terrible I am having a blast" ~ This is on a shirt that Kaylee owns and it sure does sum up her personality. She is having a blast and she reminds us everyday how fun life is and we all need to smile just like Kaylee does! It is amazing the lessons we can learn from our own children!
Next time you are around Kaylee just ask her if you can be her best friend and she will welcome you with open arms ~ she is friends with everyone!
